BSI calls for comments on learning services standard

BSI is inviting comments on ISO/DIS 29990, a draft international standard on the provision of non-formal learning services. The aim of the standard is to provide a generic model for quality professional practice and performance in non-formal education and training. It will also serve as a common reference point for learning services providers and their clients. Organizations will be able to use the standard to assist in the selection of a provider who will meet their needs and expectations.

The draft standard contains a number of requirements relating to the development of learning programmes and the management of the learning service provider, which organizations would need to meet in order to claim compliance with the standard.

To review and comment on the draft standard please visit www.bsigroup.com/draft29990 .
