Abstract
This code of practice gives guidance on the nature of fire hazards in the chemical and allied industries. It includes plant design, siting, separation distances, control and maintenance aspects of plant and the design and operation of warehouses and storage areas. Fire prevention and firefighting are also considered.
Appendices to the code give details of regulations, and list references.
